Courtney Smith was a resident of the same home as both of her parents at various times. Jennifer, her elder sister is employed in the field of advertising. She completed her degree in 1985 at Tamalpais High School, Mill Valley California. She also performed with the Ensemble Theater Company in Mill Valley as she was in high school.
